MANAGEMENT MATRIX FOR AN AVIATION SAFETY INSPECTOR
Important activities have an outcome that
leads to the achievement of your goals, whether these are professional or

Urgent activities demand immediate
attention, and are often associated with the achievement of someone else's
goals.
Majority of the an ASI activities falls under quadrant 2 which should be our focus. activities in the quadrant are planned for. Activities in quadrant 1 acts on the ASI and must be managed. Activities in quadrant 3 are urgent distract the ASI from his/her safety oversight goals. Activities in quadrant 4 are distractors and may not enable ASI to achieve his/her goals. Work Programme will assist the ASI in planning and carrying out tasks/activities in quadrant 2. Add more tasks/activities to this to enable you manage yourself as professional.
